Talk 2 The Animals: Dental Care for Your Pets

Dear Pets:

Did you know that February is dental month for you?  What?  You say you don’t know why there needs to be a dental month?

Don’t miss the Infographic later in this post

Well, actually, it’s probably an official month more for us humans:  so we can remember to take you to your vet and have your teeth checked.  You know, we humans need to mark things on our calendars so we can remember important events.

What’s that you say?  You’re asking why a dental checkup is so important?  That’s because healthy teeth help keep the rest of you healthy.  We humans do all that we can to keep you healthy and happy.

No, no, no, no, I seriously doubt more treats make you healthier.  Nice try.

That’s a good question:  what happens if the vet needs to do dental work on your teeth?  This infographic will begin to answer that very question.  Will you show it to your humans?  Yes?  Thanks for doing that.

OK, I’m going to call the vet right now to make an appointment for a dental checkup for my crew.

I hope you get some treats soon!

Here’s To New Beginnings,

Janet
